The Answer would be 20/6 but that can reduced down to back down to 10/3. To multiply a fraction by a whole number, know that a while number like four is always over 1 so it would 5/6 x 4/1. To multiplay fractions, you multiply the top numbers ( 5 x 4 ) and then your bottom numbers ( 6 x 1 ) which gives you your answer: 20/6 which you might want to reduce if possible which you can.

Take 5/6 x 4/1 and multiply 5x4 and 6x1 to get 20/6. 6 goes into 20 3 times, with 2/6 leftover. Reduce 2/6 to 1/3 and your final answer is 3 1/3.

You decide to make and sell bracelets. The cost of your materials is $84. You charge $3.50 for each bracelet.
vivado [14]
<span>Cost of material =$84 Selling Price of each bracelet=$3.50 Let b be the number of bracelets to be sold. Let P be the profit. To get a profit Selling price should be greater than cost price. Profit = Selling Price - Cost price $3.50 * b would give the total selling price. Therefore, P=3.50b - 84</span>

Find the value of x.
Nuetrik [128]

Answer:

\huge\boxed{y=\sqrt{55}}

Step-by-step explanation:

ΔADC and ΔDBC are similar (AAA)

Therefore the cooresponging sides are in proportion:

\dfrac{AC}{CD}=\dfrac{CD}{BC}

Substitute:

AC=6+5=11\\BC=5\\CD=y

\dfrac{11}{y}=\dfrac{y}{5}              <em>cross multiply</em>

(11)(5)=(y)(y)\\\\55=y^2\to y=\sqrt{55}

Sindi borrowed an amount of money from his father to open the Salon. The loan will be paid back by means of payments of R25 000
amm1812

The present value of the loan will be = R36,250

<h3>Calculation of the present value</h3>

The principal capital (P) = R25 000

Interest rate for the payment (R)= 7.5%

Time for the payment (T)= 6 years

Therefore simple interest = P×T×R/100

= 25,000×6×7.5/100

= 250×6×7.5

= R11,250

The present value of the loan will be;

= 25,000 + 11,250

= R36,250
