height of water = 6.25 cm

The volume of the container = 20 × 10 × 10 = 2000 cm³

volume after 750 cm³ is poured out = 2000 - 750 = 1250 cm³

height = 1250/( 20 × 10) = 6.25 cm

⓵ First, you have to calculate the volume of the container. To do so, you need to use this formula ⇨ V = L × W × H

V = Volume
L = Length (20cm)
W = Width (10cm)
H = Height (10 cm)

→ V = 20 × 10 × 10

→ V = 200 × 10

→ V = 2000 cm³

⓶ Once you have the volume of the container, you need to subtract the volume of the water that is poured out of the container from the total volume :

2000 - 750 = 1250 cm³

⓷ Now that we know the remaining volume of water in the container after having poured some out, we need to find the height of the water. To do so, we use the same formula as we used in number one, but instead of isolating the “V” we’ll isolate the “H” :

V = L × W × H

V = 1250 cm³
L = 20 cm
W = 10 cm
H = ?

1250 = 20 × 10 × H

1250 = 200 × H
÷ 200 ÷ 200

6.25 = H

Which means that the height of the water is 6.25 cm!!

There you go! I really hope this helped, if there’s anything just let me know! ☻

In a calculus class, Jack Hartig scored 4 on a quiz for which the class mean and standard deviation were 2.9 and 2.1, respecti
nataly862011 [7]

Answer: Norm Alpina did better with z-score 0.79

Step-by-step explanation:

Z score formula = (raw score - mean) / standard deviation

For Jack Hartig,

score = 4; mean = 2.9; standard deviation = 2.1

Hence, Z score = (4 - 2.9) /2.1

= 1.1/2.1

= 0.52

For Norm Alpina,

score = 8; mean = 6.5; standard deviation = 1.9

Hence, Z score = (8 - 6.5) /1.9

= 1.5/1.9

= 0.79

Relatively, Norm Alpina did better for having Z score 0.79
