A pound is 16 ounces. And 16 multiplied by 5.5 equals 88.And two weeks is 14 days so then you would multiply 88 by 14 and get 1,232 ounces. Therefore the Baker uses 1,232 ounces in 2 weeks.

<span> note that A pound is 16 ounces. after we know how much 1 pound weighs we have to do 16 multiplied by 5.5 = 88.And two weeks is 14 days so then you would multiply 88 by 14 and get 1,232 ounces.
Answer: Baker uses one thousand, two hundred, and thirty-two (1,332) ounces in 2 weeks.

hope this information is helpful! :)</span>

A sporting goods store sells right-handed and left-handed baseball gloves. In one month, 12 gloves were sold for a total revenue
stepladder [879]

Answer:

9 right-handed gloves and 3 left-handed gloves were sold.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:  In one month, 12 gloves were sold for a total revenue of \$561.

            right-handed gloves cost \$45 and left-handed gloves cost \$52.

To find: How much of each type of gloves did they sell?

Solution: Let they sell x  right-handed gloves, and y left-handed gloves.

Now, cost of each right-handed gloves =\$45

cost of each left-handed gloves =\$52

Total revenue =\$561

So, we get

45x+52y=561\:\:\:...(i)

Also,  in a month 12 gloves were sold.

So, we get

x+y=12\:\:\:...(ii)

Now, from (ii) we get, x=12-y.

Putting x=12-y in equation (i), we get

45(12-y)+52y=561

\implies 540-45y+52y=561

\implies7y=561-540

\implies7y=21

\implies y=\frac{21}{7}

\implies y=3

Now, putting y=3 in equation (ii), we get

x+3=12

\implies x=12-3

\implies x=9

Hence, 9 right-handed gloves and 3 left-handed gloves were sold.

find two consecutive odd integers whose product is 1 less than 6 times their sum. Domain for the smallest : {-1, 1, 11}
inn [45]
Let x be the 1st odd number, and x+2 the second odd consecutive number:

(x)(x + 2) = 6[((x) + (x+2)] -1
x² + 2x = 6(2x + 2) - 1

x² + 2x = 12x +12 - 1
And x² - 10x - 11=0

Solve this quadratic expression:

x' = [+10 +√(10²- 4.(1)(-11)]/2  and x" = [+10 -√(10²- 4.(1)(-11)]/2

x' = [10 + √144]/2      and  x" = [10 - √64]/2

x' = (10+12)/2    and x" = (10-12)/2

x = 11 and x = -1

We have 2 solutions that satisfy the problem:

1st for x = 11, the numbers at 11 and 13
2nd for x = - 1 , the numbers are -1 and +1
If you plug each one in the original equation :(x)(x + 2) = 6[((x) + (x+2)] -1
you will find that both generates an equlity

2 = f/8 Solve the equation.
MaRussiya [10]

Answer:

f = 16

Step-by-step explanation:

Isolate the variable, f. Note the equal sign, what you do to one side, you do to the other. Multiply 8 to both sides of the equations:

2 = (f/8)

2(8) = (f/8)(8)

f = 2 * 8 = 16

f = 16 is your answer.

Domain (x): (-∞ , -1) ∪ (-1 , 3) ∪ (3 , ∞)

Range (y): (3 , ∞) ∪ (-∞ , ∞) ∪ (-∞ , 3) -> (-∞ , ∞)

Step-by-step explanation:

Domain (x): (-∞ , -1) ∪ (-1 , 3) ∪ (3 , ∞)

Range (y): (3 , ∞) ∪ (-∞ , ∞) ∪ (-∞ , 3) -> (-∞ , ∞)
