Because line s intersects line b, the angle opposite the given angle of (11x) must also be (11x) and the angle adjacent to (11x) must be 180-(11x) because those two angles together should equal 180, or the angle of a straight line. Next, we know that the sum of the angles of a triangle are 180 (think of 45, 45, 90 triangles for example). We know that the right angle is 90 degrees, which means the other two angles add up to the remaining 90. This means the angle not given in the right triangle will be 90-(7x). We also determined that this angle should equal (11x). So we could write out the equation (11x) = 90 - (7x). This can be rewritten as 90 = (11x) + (7x). We could then combine like terms to get 90 = 18x. Then divide both sides to solve for x and we would find that x = 5. Hope this helps and comment if you have any further questions. (:

Its 5 degree s because 5×7=35 which is less than 90 and 11×5=55 which is less than 90

Sophia want to rent an apartment she visits apartment A Whitehall charges $100 for a one time deposit and $400 per month for ren
Alex

Answer:

The inequality in this case is 100 + 400*t > 500 + 350*t and for B to be cheaper Sophia has to rent it for more than 8 months.

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to write the inequality we first need to write two equations one for each apartment. For apartment A we have a fixed cost of $100 and a variable cost of $400 that varies according to the time living in there, so we have:

rent = 100 + 400*t

For apartment B we have a fixed cost of $500 and a variable cost of $350 that varies according to the time living in there, so we have:

rent = 500 + 350*t

In order for the total paid in B to be less than for the one in A we need to satisfy the following inequality:

100 + 400*t > 500 + 350*t

400*t - 350*t > 500 - 100

50*t > 400

t > 400/50

t > 8 months

The inequality in this case is 100 + 400*t > 500 + 350*t and for B to be cheaper Sophia has to rent it for more than 8 months.

I NEED HELP WITH ALL OF THESE PLEASE! I HAVE A TEST AND I NEED HELP ASAP
Studentka2010 [4]
So what you do for distributive property is take #1 for example: 3(2x + 10) = 54. When there’s a parenthesis, you take the outside number which is the 3 times the numbers inside the parenthesis. So after doing that first step you should get 6x + 30 = 54. Now you want to get rid of the 30 so you do 30-30=0 but you have to do it on the other side as well. So subtracting 30 on both sides you should have 6x = 24. Now you want to get x by itself. The opposite of multiplying is dividing so you divide 6 from 6x. So the same on the other side. You get your answer x=4 if you did everything correct
