A graph with no trend shows that the variables are unchanging. For instance if they were changing they would be either "trending upwards" or "trending downwards". But if there is no change there is no trend.

Addition

Concept

Add units together in order to reach a sum.

Utilization

In this problem, you are told to find the probability (or %) that someone owns either a dog, OR a cat. If they own both - then they do in fact own a dog or cat. So the formula is:

dog owners % + cat owners % + both owners %

Aka,

23 + 18 + 5 = 46

Answer

The answer is 46% of people own either a cat or a dog, because 23% + 18% + 5% is 46%.

PLEASE HELP ASAAP 25 PTS + BRAINLIEST TO RIGHT/BEST ANSWER
Nutka1998 [239]

Let i = sqrt(-1) which is the conventional notation to set up an imaginary number

The idea is to break up the radicand, aka stuff under the square root, to simplify

sqrt(-8) = sqrt(-1*4*2)

sqrt(-8) = sqrt(-1)*sqrt(4)*sqrt(2)

sqrt(-8) = i*2*sqrt(2)

sqrt(-8) = 2i*sqrt(2)
