There is a cube 12 inches by 12 inches by 12 inches.  Multiply 12 inches by 12 inches by 12 inches for the volume.
12 in * 12 in * 12 in=1728 in^3

Hope this helps!

The answer is 145 divided by tan 65 degrees.

Since the equation for tangent is opposite/adjacent, you can just plug the numbers in.

tan(65)=145/x (x being the height that you are trying to find)

tan(65) * x = 145

Then divide tan(65) to isolate the x and you get:

145/tan(65)

Hope this helps!

Select all ratios equivalent to 3:2.
weeeeeb [17]
So the Correct answer would be all three of them.
This includes 27:18, 12:8, and 21:14.
The math behind this includes proportions.
For instance, if you multiple 3 by 9, you get 37. You have to multiple 2 by 9 now, and you should get 18. This is how all three of the answers are correct!

Please solve-y(2+4y)
Elina [12.6K]
To solve this, you distribute the -y to both terms, 2 and 4y.
It will look something like this: (2*-y)+(4y*-y)
When you simplify, look for any like terms that can be combined, and if none, then leave it as it is.
Your final answer will be: -2y-4y^2

What is the five-number summary for this data set?
Free_Kalibri [48]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

min and max are correctly the same for all 4 answers.

we have 10 data points, so, the median is the mean value between the 2 middle numbers, 19 and 22 : 20.5.

ah, it can be only C or D.

Q1 is the median of the lower half of data points (13 out of 11, 12, 13, 17, 19). and Q3 is the median of the upper half of data points (29 out of 22, 24, 29, 33, 38).

so, C is correct.

For each of the situations described, state whether the sampling procedure is simple random sampling, stratified random sampling
aleksklad [387]

Answer:

The sampling method applied is Cluster sampling.

Step-by-step explanation:

A cluster sampling method is the type of sampling where first the entire population is divided into homogeneous groups. Then a random sample of these groups are selected.

After selecting a sample of groups, a random sample of fixed size is selected from each group.

In this case all freshmen are first divided into 30 sections, then 4 random sections are selected and the students in those 4 sections are sampled.

The sampling method applied is Cluster sampling.
