Start with your lowest numbers, 3 bracelets have 24 beads. The easiest way to find your answer is to find out how many beads are on 1 bracelet. So 24/3 will give us that answer. 24/3=8. and then multiply 7 by 8 to get 56. then check your answer to make sure it fits.
3 x 8 = 24
5 x 8 = 40
7 x 8 = 56
9 x 8 = 72

Help please with this math ;-; I beg of you
RSB [31]

Answer:

49 - 9π

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of white portion = area of triangle - area of circle

To find the area of the triangle:

The area of a triangle can be calculated using this formula

A=\frac{bh}{2} where b = base length and h = height

The height given is 7m and the base length given is 14m

That being said we plug in the given values into the formula

\frac{14*7}{2} \\14*7=98\\\frac{98}{2} =49

Hence, the area of the triangle is 49 sq meters.

To find the area of circle

( note that the area is in terms of pi; shown by the answer choices. )

Formula for area of a circle = A=\pi r^2

We are given the diameter  ( 6m )

However, we need the radius

To convert diameter to radius we divide by 2

6/2 = 3 so the radius = 3m

Now we plug in 3 into the formula

A=\pi 3^2\\3^2=9\\A=9\pi

Remember we do not apply pi because the answer should be in terms of pi.

Now we subtract the two

Area of white portion = 49 - 9π

Hence, the answer is A

Alex the electrician needs 34 yards of electrical wire to complete his job. He has a coil of wiring in his workshop. The coiled
bogdanovich [222]

Answer: This coil will not be enough to complete the job.

Step-by-step explanation:

The circumference of the coil of wiring can be calculated with:

C=2\pi r

Where r is the radius and \pi=3.14

The radius can be calculated by dividing the diameter by 2. Then:

r=\frac{18in}{2}\\\\r=9in

Convert 9 inches to yards (1 yard=36 inches):

(9in)(\frac{1yd}{36in})=0.25yd

Substitute this radius into the formula:

C=2(3.14)(0.25yd)\\C=1.57yd

Since there are 21 circles of wire, you need to multiply C=1.57yd by 21:

C_T=(1.57yd)(21)=32.97yd

The coil has 32.97 yards of wire and Alex needs 34 yards, therefore, this coil will not be enough  to complete the job.
