Contradictory claims made by some experts is a characteristic of Pseudoscience fact.

EXPLANATION:

Pseudoscience is characterized by contradictory claims that are said to be scientific, but they are not compatible with scientific methods. They are the statements or beliefs that are usually not open for evaluation by other experts.

Also, these are not studied facts which means there is a lack of evidence to support them scientifically. These beliefs are also very resistant to change. For example, Astrology is a Pseudoscience. Other examples are theories related to Bermuda Triangle, Ancient Aliens, etc.

A) Describe the first interaction that triggers signaling to begin in a target cell.
sergey [27]

Answer:

Ligand-receptor interaction is the first interaction that triggers cell signalling.

Ligands are the hormones, drugs or neurotransmitters that specifically bind with receptors present in cell surface to initiate cell signalling. Ligand binding to the receptor is reversible. Binding of the ligand to the receptor can activate or inactivate receptor. Activation may lead to cell signalling pathways. Inside cells, there are secondary molecules which on activation starts a cascade of reactions. which in-turn regulate the function of the ligand molecule.

At first, the activated receptor relates with G proteins molecules in the cell.

before the ultimate physiological effect of the ligand on the cell's behavior is produced Therefore, the cellular signaling starts as soon as the first messenger (the ligand) binds to its receptor.

In the Krebs Cycle of cellular respiration, pyruvate is used to make
Nikolay [14]

Answer:

b. carbon dioxide

Explanation:

This metabolic pathway is called the Krebs cycle after the scientist who first discovered it in 1937. The Krebs cycle is further broken down by pyruvic acid, obtained in the glycolysis process. The process proceeds in two stages. The first is the degree of decomposition of the bicarbonate residue.

The Krebs cycle is the main metabolic pathway for the breakdown of organic matter and the production of energy in the form of reduced coenzymes, which will then be incorporated into ATP.
