The Susquehanna River, which runs through the states of New York, Pennsylvania, an Maryland , received the title- America's most

Endangered River in a 2005. One of the rivers problem's results from the large number of sewage overflow sites that are found along the course of the river. This produces several negative effects on the biodiversity of the river ecosystem.

Explanation:

The Susquehanna river is polluted by the excess release of nutrients like phosphorous and nitrogen from agricultural land and sewage treatment plants. This can adversely affect the health of the river. The excess of nutrients will accelerate the growth of algae in the river.

The dead algae that settle at the bottom of the river decay by consuming the oxygen present in the river. This will reduce the amount of dissolved oxygen in the river and affect aquatic life.

Thick algal growth partially prevents the penetration of sunlight into the water and this affects the growth of submerged plants which are food to the fish.

Why is Ganymede called a moon and not a plamet
Softa [21]

The discovery, along with three other Jovian moons, was the first time a moon was discovered orbiting a planet other than Earth. Galileo's discovery eventually led to the understanding that planets orbit the sun, instead of our solar system revolving around Earth. Galileo called this moon Jupiter III.

What ensures that the correct amino acid is added during translation?
dsp73

Answer:

thanks to the genetic code, this allows cells to decode an mRNA in an amino acid chain

Transfer RNAs, or tRNAs, connect the mRNA codons with the amino acids for which they encode. One end of each tRNA has a three nucleotide sequence called anticodon, which can be attached to a specific codon of the messenger RNA. The other end of tRNA carries the amino acid that specifies the codon that is present in the messenger RNA

Which molecules are not able to permeate the cell membrane
max2010maxim [7]

Answer:

Small uncharged polar molecules, such as H2O, also can diffuse through membranes, but larger uncharged polar molecules, such as glucose, cannot. Charged molecules, such as ions, are unable to diffuse through a phospholipid bilayer regardless of size; even H+ ions cannot cross a lipid bilayer by free diffusion.
