The answer to this question would be: the anion uptake will be decreased

If proton pump function is decreased, that means the amount of proton that goes outside the cell will be decreased. It will cause the anion uptake decreased too because some anion needs to go inside cells by co transporting with the proton.

On a container of chicken broth you notice the instructions to ""shake well before serving."" Which of the following best descri
prohojiy [21]

Answer:

The correct option is: D. A suspension

Explanation:

A suspension is a type of heterogeneous mixture in which solid particles are suspended through out the bulk of the solvent through mechanical agitation. The solid phase is also known as the internal phase and the solvent is known as external phase. In a suspension, the solid particles are generally larger than one micrometer and thus are unable to dissolve in the medium. The solid particles of a suspension are large enough to get precipitated.

Therefore, in the given situation, the chicken broth is a suspension as the contents or solid particles of the container needs to be suspended in the solvent by shaking to prevent sedimentation.

The correct answer is option a, that is, they produce ions when dissolved in water.

The acids and bases refer to the chemical components, which reacts with water. The molecules of acids dissociate to give hydrogen ions to water, while the bases dissociate to provide hydroxide ions to the water, or that takes hydrogen ions from water and leave the hydroxide ions behind.
