See the attached picture to better understand the problem

we know that
in the right triangle ABC
sin 63°=AB/BC
AB is the opposite side angle 63-----> x cm
BC is the hypotenuse-----> 85 cm
AB=BC*sin 63°-----> AB=85*sin 63-----> AB=75.736 cm
AB=75.8 cm

the answer is
the value of x is 75.8 cm

Answer:

75.7 meters.

Step-by-step explanation:

Please find the attachment.

We have been given that a right triangle with one leg labeled x and the hypotenuse labeled 85 centimeters. The angle that is opposite the leg labeled x centimeters is labeled 63 degrees.

To find the value of x we will use sine as sine relates the opposite side of a right triangle to hypotenuse.

\text{sin}=\frac{\text{Opposite}}{\text{Hypotenuse}}

Upon substituting our given values in above formula we will get,

\text{sin}(63^{\circ})=\frac{x}{85}

0.891006524188=\frac{x}{85}

0.891006524188*85=\frac{x}{85}*85

75.73555455598=x

x\approx 75.7

Therefore, the value of x is 75.7 to the nearest tenth.

A 120° sector of a circle has an area of 67 cm². To the nearest centimeter what is the diameter of the circle?
qaws [65]

Answer:

degree = 120°

A =67 cm²

d=?

note : diameter= 2×radius

area of a circle = πr²

67=22/7 ×r²

67×7=22r²

469=22r²

r²=469/22

r²=21.32

r=4.62

diameter=2 × radius

d= 2× 4.62

d=9.24

d=9

I hope it helps :)
