You multiply the numbers, that will lead you to the answers. So 4/5 * 3/4 will give you the fraction of the girls with long brown hair.
To get the answer for Part B, do 4/5 * 3/4 * 1/3.

The perimeter of a standard basketball court is 288 feet. The length is 44 feet longer than the width. What are the dimensions o
Nuetrik [128]

Answer:

Perimeter = 2l + 2w    //l=length, w=width

l = 44 + w

Now substitute 44 + w in place of l in the above equation and you have

2(44 + w) + 2w = 288

=> 88 + 2w + 2w = 288

=> 88 + 4w = 288

=> 4w = 200

=> w = 50 and l = 44 + 50 = 94

2*94 + 2*50=288

What is the missing factor in the equation? Assume x * 0 and y* 0.
weeeeeb [17]

Answer:

\sf b)  \quad \dfrac{y^3}{4x}

Explanation:

\sf \left(\dfrac{6x^2}{5y}\right)  \left(?}\right) = \left(\dfrac{3xy^2}{10}\right)

cross multiply variables

\sf ? = \left(\dfrac{3xy^2 (5y)}{10(6x^2)}\right)

distribute inside parenthesis

\sf ? = \left(\dfrac{15xy^3}{60x^2}\right)

remove parenthesis and simplify

\sf ? = \dfrac{y^3}{4x}
