Answer:

The Soviet Union

Explanation:

After WWII the United States and the Soviet Union were in an open but restricted conflict called the Cold War.

The Soviet Union wanted to spread communism world wide, soon after the end of the war it had already installed left-wing governments in eastern Europe. The U.S. feared the spread of the communist ideology, under the Marshall Plan , it provided aid to Europe in order to recover and resist the Soviet Union. It is called Cold War because these superpowers didn't fight directly between them, they used politics, economics, and propaganda tactics to fight, the actual battles were fought in periphery countries. An example is the Vietnam war, which lasted until 1975. The Cold War lasted until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, but it was already very weak in the late 80's.

1. How did Marx’s ideas represent a threat to nation-states and their governments?
marusya05 [52]

Answer:

His ideas were contradictory to common beliefs and ideas at the time, and so many countries and governments were afraid that people would be introduced to those radical ideas and believe them, which could cause a revolution, a change in politics and policies, etc.

The poster shows that Marx saw that a lot of people were under the rule of governments and leaders contradictory to his thoughts and prime beliefs.

Hope it helps!

Are sports always political?
Nitella [24]

Answer and Explanation:

Generally, sports are something that is a common and frequent argument between which or what team is better. Many people will bring sports into a political statement or argument, whether that means that which state is better in general, which team is most voted the best, or just a plain argument in general.

So yes, sports are always a political statement. From the simple games of a childhood sport game, to the Olympics. It is a constant never-ending battle of who and what sports and people on the teams are the best.
