Not only did he give the soldiers enough morale and was a skilled enough commander to lead the country in winning the Revolutionary War, he was also a politician. many of his ideas were put into the founding documents of the country, like the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. he was elected the first president of the US, which helped the country stay united since the people already trusted him, considering how weak the country was since it was brand new. many of his ideas and advice in his Farewell Address are still applicable today. He also started the traditions of both the inaugural and farewell addresses, as well as the title the people should call the president. i hope this helps!! :D
