Substitution:

Substitution is the switch of codons. A C could be switched to an A, but the original is now substituted for the new codon. This can change the amino acid present or it can be a silent mutation. If the stop codon is switched in, the protein will be cut short and the effects could be very serious.

Insertion:

Insertion is where base pairs are inserted into the DNA. This is different from substitution because nothing is getting switched out, just new ones are getting inserted. The original codons will still be present, just new ones are coming in. Insertions result in a frame-shift, which means everything after the mutation is shifted and nothing will be correct after this. Insertions are more harmful than substitution because it doesn't affect just one amino acid, but many.

Deletion:

Deletion is where some codons or DNA is deleted. This will result in everything after the mutation being incorrect and can cause drastic effects. Deletion is very similar to insertion because they both cause a frame-shift, but also very different because they do the opposite from one another. Deletion is also more harmful than substitution because of the frame-shift and the change in future amino acids.

Answer:

The correct answer is C. Greater throcanter of the femur.

Explanation:

Hip fractures describe all those fractures that occur in the proximal extremity of the femur.

According to the location of the fracture in the extremity, it can affect the femoral head, the femoral neck, the trochanter of the femur or the area under the femur.

Most of the hip fractures occur in older people, mostly in women, and mainly, the causes of fractures are falls or missteps.

For the treatment, there are some surgery options, among other more conservatory. One of them is hip pinning, which is considered a good option for fractures that occur in the greater and lesser part of the trochanter in the femur bone.

All life depends on the availability of usable energy. this energy is released when ?
alexgriva [62]
We "release energy" by doing two things. One is through going to the toilet and not peeing :). When our bodies digest the food we eat, we have to release this leftover energy in the form of fecal matter. Another way how we release energy is when our lives end. When our life ends, our bodies start rotting and releasing energy for other beings.

Why don't nerve cells regenerate?
yKpoI14uk [10]
They actually divide rarely, which are put in the category of G0 in the cell cycle. in G0, cells are unlikely to divide but still carry out their normal functions. some data suggests that neurons can divide but there is still research going on for this
