So ask yourself how much would I use on 10 plants? Then take what your answer is and multiply that by 3. In this situation you would use 3 gallons of water on 10 plant. So that would mean that you would use 9 gallons of water on 30 plans. When I say this I'm assuming that you only need one of those sixes, and then the second six is a typo

koban [17]

Answer:

 • 4 and 6 or -6 and -4

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the numbers are 2x and 2x + 2.

We have:

 • (2x + 2x + 2)² = (2x)² + (2x + 2)² + 48
 • 4(2x + 1)² = 4x² + 4(x + 1)² + 48
 • (2x + 1)² = x² + (x + 1)² + 12
 • 4x² + 4x + 1 = x² + x² + 2x + 1 + 12
 • 2x² + 2x - 12 = 0
 • x² + x - 6 = 0
 • (x - 2)(x + 3) = 0
 • x = 2, x = -3

The numbers are:

 • 4 and 6 or - 6 and - 4

A) 180-125 =55
B) both bottom angles are 55 and the triangle's angles should add up to 180, so 55 + 55 + x = 180. X = 70
C) CAE and CBD are equal so the bottom angle (that was calculated in A) will be the base acute angle —>55

a line segment with points p(1 2) and q(4 3) is reflected across the line y=x. What are the new coordinates of the points of the
katen-ka-za [31]

Answer:

The new coordinates of the points of the line segment are p'(2,1) and q'(3,4)

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

When you reflect a point across the line y= x, the x-coordinate and y-coordinate change places.

so

The rule of the reflection of a point across the line y=x is

(x,y) -----> (y,x)

we have

Points p(1,2) and q(4,3)

Applying the rule of the reflection across the line y=x

p(1,2) ------> p'(2,1)

q(4,3) -----> q'(3,4)

therefore

The new coordinates of the points of the line segment are p'(2,1) and q'(3,4)

Each ice cream cone at Izzy's Ice Cream Parlor contains $\frac{1}{32}$ of a gallon of ice cream. If Izzy has $\frac{3}{4}$ of a
harkovskaia [24]

Answer: 24 cones.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that each cone contains 1/32 of a gallon of ice cream.

And Izzy has a total of 3/4 gallons.

How many cones we can make with this? This will be equal to the quotient between 3/4 gallons and 1/32 gallons, which will be equal to the number of times that we can fit 1/32 in 3/4

this is:

N = (3/4 gal)/(1/32 gal) = 24

This means that we can make 24 ice cream cones with 3/4 gal of ice cream.
