we know that

An equilateral triangle is a regular polygon, because all sides are equal

In a regular polygon the area is equal to

A=\frac{1}{2}*apothem*perimeter

in this problem we have

apothem=2.16\ cm\\ perimeter=22.45\ cm

substitute in the formula

A=\frac{1}{2}*2.16*22.45

A=24.2\ cm^{2}

therefore

<u>the answer is</u>

the area of the triangle is 24.2\ cm^{2}

How do you compute unit rates associates with ratios and fractions?
Crazy boy [7]
<span>Compute unit rates associated with ratios of fractions, including ratios of lengths, areas and other quantities measured in like or different units. For example, if a person walks 1/2 mile in each 1/4 hour, compute the unit rate as the complex fraction 1/2/1/4 miles per hour, equivalently 2 miles per hour. ... hope this helps.</span>

Find the distance between (-2,7) and (3, -3). Round to the nearest tenth. Geometry please help
yan [13]

Answer:

15

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for distance when given vertices is

√(x2 - x1)² + (y2- y1)²

Where we have points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2)

So, (-2,7) and (3, -3)

Distance = √(3 -(-2))² + (-3 -7)²

= √5² + (-10)²

= √25 + 100

= √125

= 15

Therefore, the distance between (-2,7) and (3, -3) is 15

If the endpoints of the diameter of a circle are (8, 6) and (2,0), what is the standard form equation of the circle?
zvonat [6]

Answer:

It is C.

Step-by-step explanation:

The centre of the circle is at the midpoint of The diameter = (8+2)/2, (6+0)/2 = (5,3) so the left side of the equation is (x-5)^2+(Y-3)^2. Now we need to work out the radius:

The diameter = square root(8-2)^2+6^2) = square root of 72 = 6sqrt2.

So the radius = 3sqrt2 and r^2=18.
