Cost of 2 lemons = $ 20.50

We have to find the cost of 7 lemons. We will use unitary method to solve this problem. The unitary method is a technique which is used for solving a problem by finding the value of a single unit, i.e., 1, (by dividing) and then finding the necessary value by multiplying the single unit value.

Since, Cost of 2 lemons = $20.50

Cost of 1 lemon = $ \frac{20.50}{2}

Cost of 1 lemon = $ 10.25

Cost of 7 lemons = $ 7 \times 10.25

So, Cost of 7 lemons = $ 71.75

Therefore, she will pay $71.75 for 7 lemons.

A penny weighs about 0.1 oz. how much is a pound of pennies worth
Lelu [443]
<span>1.       </span><span>A penny weighs about 0.1 oz.
Now, we need to find the weights of pennies in pounds
=> always remember that in every 1 oz, there is 0.0625 pounds.
Since 0.1 is 1/10 of 1 oz, we need to find the value of it in pounds.
=>  0.0625 pounds / 10
=> 0.0625 pounds.
Therefore, in 0.1 oz of  penny is equivalent to 0.00625 pounds.
In problem like this, before determining the answer, you need to make sure that both unit of measurements are the same. If not, then try to convert.</span>

Maggie tells you she is deciding between two jobs for which the pay is calculated by the functions A(x) = 5x+20 B(x) = 20x+5 Exp
salantis [7]

Answer:

B(x) is the better option

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's say that these functions represent the pay f(x) in hours, x. Function B would increase linearly on a greater scale because each X is being multiplied by 20.

You'll notice this trend for larger numbers, such as 10.

A(x) = 5(10) + 20 = 70

B(x) = 20(10) + 5 = 205

Therefore, your answer is B.

Which function has a greater y-intercept?
Paladinen [302]

Answer:

The table / first one

Step-by-step explanation:

The y-intercept is when x, or t, is 0. For the graph the y-intercept is -2 and the table has a y-intercept of -1.5

-1.5 > -2

Hence our answer.

Have a nice day!
