tiny-mole [99]

Explanation:

It's normal for parents to disagree and argue from time to time. Parents might disagree about money, home chores, or how to spend time. They might disagree about big things — like important decisions they need to make for the family. They might even disagree about little things that don't seem important at all — like what's for dinner or what time someone gets home.

Keith_Richards [23]

Answer:

"In the following pages I offer nothing more than simple facts, plain arguments, and common sense." The purpose of the words "simple," plain," and "common" is as follow:

d. to appeal to as large an audience as possible

Explanation:

  • The option a is not valid as the author does want to persuade because these words like simple, plain and common don't match with the tone.
  • The option b is also valid as the author doesn't want to encourage only serious readers but vast majority of readers.
  • The option c is also invalid as the author doesn't want to show off his intellectual qualities as the words like simple, plain and common showing other tone.
  • The option d is correct as the author wants to attract more and more readers with the use of the words like simple facts, plain arguments and common sense so that everyone feel comfortable to read it.

Answer: Well, its seems that this speech has to do with congratulating everyone who has just graduated, this speech was also given by a classmate from one of the groups.

i like that he included himself and others to the speech, i also enjoy that the speech is funny in a way. One thing i don't like about this speech is that he goes a little off track/ off topic.
