The answer to this question is that the nurse should suspect that the client is suffering from Hyperkalemia.

Hyperkalemia is a situation where in patients is having a high level of potassium in the blood. This situation is life threatening that it can lead to cardiac arrest and mortality. Chest pains, palpitations, tingling sensation or feeling of numbness, and trouble breathing are some of the symptoms of having hyperkalemia. In mild cases of hyperkalemia, patients are treated by instructing the patient to have a diet plan that is low in potassium. They are also advised to take a diuretic in order to decrease the potassium levels in the blood by excreting it in the urine.
