Answer:

2 pair shorts and for t-shirts and sandals possible cases are

1 t-shirt and 3 sandals or

4 t-shirts and 2 sandals or

7 t-shirts and 1 sandals.

Step-by-step explanation:

Total money spent by Heidi on the clothing items is $60.

Now , she bought 2 pairs of short for $10 each , so, the money spent on shorts will be $20.

Thus money for other stuffs should be $40.

Let she bought x t-shirts for $4 each , thus money spent on t-shirts will be 4x dollars.

Also let she bought y sandals for $12 each , so money spent on sandals will be 12y dollars .

Thus , 4x + 12y = 40.  (since 40 dollars were remaining for other clothing

                                     items)

So, x + 3y = 10.

So, the possible cases are 1 t-shirt and 3 sandals or

4 t-shirts and 2 sandals or

7 t-shirts and 1 sandals.

Blababa [14]

Answer:

Either B or D.

Step-by-step explanation:

I consider both options valid. It all depends on how the employer is keeping track of time, ie if the pay "ticks" every 60 minutes, or an employee is allowed to clock in half hours.

Will I be able to work 30 and a half hour for example? If I'm allowed to, D.

If I have to work multiple of 60 minutes, B.
