If the value depreciates by 20% each year it means that each year the value = 80% ( or 0.8) of the value the previous year

Lets suppose the mower cost $200 then after 5 years value would be 200 * (0.8)^5 = $6.5.54 so its not worthless

b) aFTER 2 YEARS THE FACTOR WOULD BE (0.8)^2 = 0.64
He multiplies by 0.64 Aswer

Karley is an architect building the city pool. The larger rectangle represents the entire pool area. The smaller rectangle repre
Ahat [919]

Answer:

Area of the walkway border is 736 ft²

Step-by-step explanation:

A rectangle is a quadrilateral (has four sides and four angles) with two pairs of opposite and parallel sides. All angles in a rectangle are 90 degrees each. Also, opposite sides are equal.

The entire pool area has a length of 60 feet and width of 40 feet. The area of the entire pool area is:

Area of entire pool = length * width = 60 feet * 40 feet = 2400 ft²

The area of entire pool

A walkaway border of 4 ft is made around the pool area. There is a decrease of 4 ft round the sides of the pool area.

Therefore length of pool = length of entire pool area - 4 feet border at left - 4 feet border at right = 60 ft - 4 ft - 4 ft = 52 ft

width of pool = width of entire pool area - 4 feet border at top - 4 feet border at bottom = 40 ft - 4 ft - 4 ft = 32 ft

Therefore the pool is 52 ft × 32 ft

Area of pool = length * width = 52 ft * 32 ft = 1664 ft²

Area of the walkway border = Entire pool area - Area of pool = 2400 ft² - 1664 ft² = 736 ft²

Each square below represents one whole
likoan [24]

Answer:

52.

Step-by-step explanation:

shaded = (3²) + (2²)

shaded = 9 + 4

shaded = 13

Unshaded = (3 x 2) + (2 x 3)

Unshaded = 6 + 6

Unshaded = 12

All = 12 + 13

All = 25

100 / 25 = 4

4 x 13 = 26 x 2

26 x 2 = 52.

-Is ZFDE a possible name for the figure below? Explain.
E
D
F
It’s number 14
gregori [183]

Answer: Yes \angle FDE is one possible angle name

Another name is \angle EDF

When it comes to naming an angle this way, all we need to worry about is the vertex point. This is where the angle hinges (think of a door or a pair of scissors). In this case, the hinge or vertex point is at point D. The vertex is always the middle letter of any three-letter sequence. The order of the other two points does not matter.

This is why saying "angle FDE" is the same as "angle EDF".
