The perimeter of a rectangle is the sum of the lengths of its four sides. Which expression where
Nitella [24]

Answer:

The expression which show the perimeter of rectangle is

2 ( Length + Breadth )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The measure of the length of the rectangle = L unit

The measure of the breadth of the rectangle = B unit

For any rectangle the opposite two sides are equal

And The rectangle has four sides

Let the Two opposite side be length

And The other two opposite side be breadth

Now, Perimeter

The perimeter is define as the sum of all sides of any polygon

Since the rectangle has four sides , with two opposite sides equal

∴ Perimeter of rectangle = Length + breadth + length + breadth

or,  Perimeter of rectangle = L + B + L + B

Or,  Perimeter of rectangle = 2 times L + 2 times B

Or,  Perimeter of rectangle = 2 times ( L + B )

Or,  Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( Length + Breadth )

Hence The expression which show the perimeter of rectangle is 2 ( Length + Breadth ) . Answer

You increase the size of a page by 50% then you decrease it by 50% what is the size of the page now
Artyom0805 [142]

Answer:

75% of the original paper’s size.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let’s say that the original size was 10 inches.

You then increase it by 50%. It is now 15 inches.

Now, you decrease it by 50%. 50% of 15 is 7.5. So, the paper is now 7.5 inches.

7.5 inches is 75% of the original paper size.

I hope I helped!

The mean monthly rent of students at Oxnard University is $780 with a standard deviation of $208.
Nonamiya [84]

Answer:

a) 2.188

b) John's rent is not an outlier

c) His rent has to be higher than $1,235 to be an outlier

Step-by-step explanation:

The mean monthly rent of students at Oxnard University is $780 with a standard deviation of $208.

(a) John’s rent is $1,235. What is his standardized z-score?

We solve using z score formula

z = (x-μ)/σ, where

x is the raw score = $1235

μ is the population mean = $780

σ is the population standard deviation = $208

Hence,

z = 1235 - 780/208

z = 2.1875

Approximately to 3 decimal place = 2.188

(b) Is John’s rent an outlier?

No it isn't

(c) How high would the rent have to be to qualify as an outlier?

John’s rent would have to be higher than $1235
