Ptolemy's model had Earth at the center, and the moon's revolved around the planets instead of the planets revolving around the moon and sun. The planets' orbits' moved instead of the planets as well. Geocentric has Earth at the center and heliocentric has the Sun at the center.

According to the Ptolemaic model, the planets stay in the middle, and all the moon's orbit around it. This system or model is also know as geocentric.

The heliocentric proposes that the Sun was in the middle, and the planets and moon's orbit around it

Th main difference in both is who stays in the middle and who orbits around it.

Hope it helped,

Happy homework/ study/ exam!
