-2x+6y=-34

(B) -2x+6y=-34

multiply (A) by - 3→ -15x - 6y = - 63 (C)

Now add (C) to (B):

-15x - 6y = - 63 (C)
-2x + 6y  =-34 (B)

-17x         = - 97       and x = 97/17

Now replace x value in any of the equation and you'll find y = - 64/17
