-4/1 because y is going down by four and x is going down by 1.

4 0

Answer: -4

To find slope subtract any two corresponding y coordinates (12 and 8) and x coordinates (-3 and -2)

12-8 is 4

-3 - (-2) = -1

X is the denominator so the answer is -4/1, or -4

Parisian sewer #1 contains 9 fewer gigantic rats—rats as big as cats, some might say—than parisian sewer #2. parisian sewer #2 c
Leya [2.2K]

There are different kinds of math problem. There will be 11 rats in sewer #1.

What are word problem?

The term word problems is known to be problems that are associated with a story, math, etc. They are known to often vary in terms of technicality.

Lets take

sewer #1 = a

sewer #2 = b

sewer #3 = c

Note that A=B-9

So then you would have:

A=B-9

B=C- 5

A+B+C=56

Then you have to do a substitution so as to find C:

(B- 9) + (C-5) + C = 56

{ (C- 5)-9} + (C-5) + C = 56

3C - 19 = 56

3C = 75

B = C- 5

B = 25 - 5

Therefore, B = 20

A = B - 9

= 25 - 9

=11

Therefore, there are are 11 rats in sewer #1

FinnZ [79.3K]
Area of sphere is given by:
A=4πr²
radius of our sphere is 4 inches, thus plugging the value in the formula we get
A=4×π×4²
A=201.06
simplifying
A=201.1in²

(x + 4) (x - 4) - x² + 16
Nitella [24]

Answer:

infinite solutions

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey there!

In order to solve this problem, we need to first distribute the (x+4)(x-4)

This is equal to x^2-16

Now we can combine like terms

x^2 and -x^2 cancel out

also

16 and -16 cancel out

The equation ends up as 0 = 0

So the answer to this answer is infinite solutions
