In addition to a blackout, you lose control of yourself and there are many ways you can die. Something a lot of people are unaware of is that having a hangover is just part of detoxing, which indicates that you are at least slightly addicted. Lastly, there are a lot of broken family's around the globe because of a parent figure being addicted to alcohol.
