Sample of water = 75/1000000 particular of FeCl3

To find the value of x, we cross multiply

Therefore we have:

75 = 75/1,000,000X

X = 75 / (75/1000000)

X = 75 x 1000000/75

X = 1,000,000.

1,000,000 particles of tap water would be for every 75 particles of FeCl3
