A histogram would show the quantity of similar scores whereas a dot plot would not.  Therefore the height of the same scores yields a very easy to understand chart.

A bar graph would be a better choice because it is able to show how often he/she has gotten a good score.

What is the area of the trapezoid shown below?
Olin [163]

Answer:

78 sqr units

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the Pythagorean Theorem to help find the base opposite the two.

The base of the second parallel line is sqrt(  (15^2) - (12^2)  ) = sqrt(81) = 9

The second base = 9 + 2 = 11

Area = (b1 + b2)*h/2

h = 12

b1 = 2

b2 = 11

h = 12

Area = (11 + 2)*12/2

Area = 13 * 12/2

Area = 78 square units

Rolling 7 or 11 on the first roll is a win probability of winning on 1st roll
gtnhenbr [62]

1/6 plus 1/18, which equals to 2/9. Suppose we roll 4 on the first roll (the probability of rolling 4 is 1/12). On each successive roll the probability of rolling 7 is 1/6 and the probability of rolling 4 is 1/12.

[i.dk how this can help but if you got a 7 or 11 rolling on the first round you would probably win]
