Answer:

Reaction is endothermic

Explanation:

The given reaction is :

A + B → C + D

The enthalpy change of a reaction (ΔH) is given by the difference between the enthalpy of the products and that of the reactants.

ΔH = H(products) - H(reactants) ------(1)

Now, enthalpy is a form of chemical energy which is essentially a measure of the heat content of the system. It is given that:

Chemical energy of reactants (A+B) = 248 kJ

Chemical energy of products (C+D) = 841 kJ

Based on equation (1) we have:

ΔH = H(C+D) - H(A+B) = 841-248 = +593 kJ

Since, the enthalpy change is positive, this implies that the reaction is endothermic i.e. energy is absorbed or required to carry out the reaction.

Knowing the gravity on the moon is 1.6m/s what is your weight?
wariber [46]
Weight varies dramatically if we leave earths surface.On the moon for example acceleration due to gravity is only 1.67m/s2 A 1.0-kg mass thus has a weight of 9.8 N on Earth and only about 1.7 N on the moon

Which type of bond, geometry and polarity of copper sulphate II ?
ElenaW [278]

Sulfate takes two Copper atoms and gains negative valence charge,whereas the Copper gains a positive valence charge.The Sulfate is bonded in covalent bonds of polarity, Oxygen having the higher electronegativity, and therefore pulling the electrons closer to it's nucleus than to Sulfur's nucleus.
