Answer:

Reverse transcription, DNA replication, transcription (in RNA virus), transcription, translation.

Explanation:

The process during which RNA is used as a template to make a complementary DNA strand is referred to as reverse transcription. It involves a series of reactions in which reverse transcriptase enzyme catalyses the synthesis of DNA. It is through this process that the Human Immune Virus is able to infect humans.

DNA replication is process during which the DNA produces a copy of itself. It involves a series of enzyme-catalyzed reactions during which the double helix structure of the DNA is unwound and each strand serves as a template for the synthesis of complementary strands. Eventually, two double helix DNA is formed each consisting of one old strand and one new strand.

Transcription or mRNA synthesis in some RNA virus involves using RNA as a template to synthesize another RNA. It is a process in viral production/replication during which mRNA is used to instruct the host's cell to make virus components.

Except in some RNA virus, transcription generally involves the use of DNA template to synthesize RNA. During this process, an enzyme known as RNA polymerase link nucleotide together using a DNA strand as template. The genes in DNA is encoded into the RNA in one of the steps that eventually lead to gene expression.

The encoded message in RNA is eventually translated as protein in an enzyme mediated process known as translation or protein synthesis. During protein synthesis, the condons on mRNA are translated into their respective amino acids and peptide bonds are formed in between these amino acids leading to the production of protein.

Put the following events in the correct sequence of activation for the somatic motor neuron pathway: Group of answer choices An
Veseljchak [2.6K]

1) An action potential is propagated down the lower motor neuron

2) Calcium levels increase in the cytoplasm of the muscle cell

3) Acetylcholine binds its receptor and causes depolarization

4) Vesicles containing glutamate fuse with the nerve terminal

5) Contraction.

Answer:

4,1,3,2,5

Explanation: Glutamate is the neurotransmitter that excites the motor neurons and produces action potential in motor neurons. Then this action potential travels down towards the axonic terminal where it would cause release of acetylcholine. ACh then binds to postsynaptic membrane causing depolarization of sarcolemma. Calcium ions are released into the sarcoplasm resulting in muscle contraction.

Which type of telemedicine is used to wirelessly gain information about health data such as blood pressure over a period of time
Rom4ik [11]
The answer to the question is remote monitoring.
Remote monitoring is a technology enabling monitoring of patients outside of conventional clinical settings. This allows patients upload specific health readings e.g bloods pressure, glucose readings from their home to their health care provider. Telemedicine is the use of telecommunication and information technology to provide clinical health care from a distance.

________ is the process in which some of the fat droplets come together in larger clusters that rise and float to the top of the
jolli1 [7]
The correct answer is Creaming.
Creaming is the technique of softening solid fat, like shortening or butter, into a smooth mass and then blending it with other ingredients. In milk biochemistry it involves a process in which fat droplets come together in larger clusters that rise and float to the top of the milk.

The frog pictured above is larger than 1.5 inches and smaller than 6 inches. Use this information, along with the dichotomous ke
vazorg [7]

Answer:

According to the characteristics given and what the image shows, the species to which the frog corresponds is Bufo boreas.

Explanation:

Options for this question are:

 • Bufo marinus .
 • Litoria caerulea .
 • Bufo boreas.
 • Acris crepitans.

Bufo boreas is a species belonging to the family Bufonidae, very common in North America, constituting an anuro amphibian.

The appearance of B. boreas is that of a thickened and irregular skin, due to multiple warts found on its surface. Additionally it has a stripe or line in its dorsal region, which extends from the head to the tail.

These characteristics, together with the description given, make it possible to establish that B. boreas is the species that can be observed in the picture (see image).
