Answer: The answer is (2), (4), (5) and (6).

Step-by-step explanation: The given expression is

E=48a^3-75a.

We are to select the correct expressions from the given options that are equivalent to the above expression.

We have the following forms of the give expressipn:

E\\\\=48a^3-75a\\\\=3a(16a^2-25)\\\\=3a\left((4a)^2-5^2\right)\\\\=3(4a+5)(4a-5)\\\\=-3a(5+4a)(5-4a)\\\\=-3a(25-16a^2).

Thus, (2), (4), (5) and (6) are the correct options.

Explain why |−3| + |9| represents the distance between the points (−3, −5) and (9, −5). brainly
forsale [732]
Since -5 and -5 are the same number, they are on the same y axis so the only distance we need to calculate is between the X coordinates.

When looking for distance, you can not have a negative. what |-3|+|9| is looking for is the distance from 0 on the X axis. since distance can't be negative, (you go 3 miles away from your house in one direction, vs 3 miles in the opposite. both ways is positive, even with opposite directions. same with axis, it doesnt matter which way, only the number.) you need the absolute value of -3 to get the distance from the 0 on the x axis.

short version: distance is positive, and its adding the distances from the x axis to get distance from each other

Helena has taken out a $9,300 unsubsidized Stafford loan to pay for her college education. She plans to graduate in four years.
kherson [118]
The effective annual interest rate is:
i = (1 + 0.064/12)^12 - 1 = 0.066
In year 1: the interest is $613.80 (multiple $9300 by 0.066)
In year 2: the interest is $654.31 (add interest from year 1 to $9300 and multiply by 0.066)
In year 3: the interest is $656.98 (do the same as year 2)
In year 4: the interest is $657.16

The total interest is: $2582.25
The present worth of this amount is:
P = 2582.23 / (1 + 0.066)^4 = $1999.72

The answer is $1999.72.
