Which green computing initiatives you would follow when choosing IT hardware?

The IT hardware depends on the server and all and all the performance. If you are using an EBI R500 software would be a good option. The reason for this is because it is accessible on many devices and easy to control. My dad is a Honeywell tech specialist and he is working with the EBI servers all the time. You can use them for many different purposes.

Like all human activities, Information Technology consumes natural resources, causing negative impacts on the environment. These impacts can be verified, for example, in the use of natural resources for hardware manufacturing, the consumption of electricity and the generation of waste and resources considered obsolete, known as electronic waste.

For this reason, sustainability has become the agenda of CIO's in IT. Much can be done for the environment, starting with the adoption of simple actions that are sufficient to help minimize the negative environmental impacts of the activity, ie the adoption of Green IT.

Green IT need not only be done by specialized companies. Common corporations from other areas can also take steps that help in the search for a more sustainable world:

• Turn off equipment at times when not in use;
• Use alternative energy sources;
• Optimize hardware utilization. This allows only the necessary space and the corresponding energy for its cooling to be used;
• Update software and keep your equipment up to date. This increases durability and service life;
• Recycle or donate. Some manufacturers and collection centers receive recycling equipment
• Save and include everyday paper, ink cartridges, and toner in the savings list.
