Hi.

If I had to say, I think I would say that is True.

Sorry if I'm wrong, but I really think it's true...

The answer is true. If you're multiplying exponents with like bases, you add the exponents together.

Example: 7⁵ · 7⁶ = 7¹¹

However, if you were to have a problem that has different bases, you'd multiply the base numbers first, then keep the exponent on your product.

Example: 9⁴ · 3⁴ = 27⁴

After getting your product, you need to "simplify" your answer.

27
⁴ = 531, 441

I hope I helped :)

Find the common ratio of the geometric sequence: -320,80,-20,5
Flauer [41]

Answer:

-1/4 if you prefer the answer written as a fraction.

-0.25 is you prefer the answer written as a decimal.

Step-by-step explanation:

Common ratio of a geometric sequence can be found by doing term divided by previous term.

That is you could do:

80/-320

or

-20/80

or

5/-20

If all these ratios are not equal, it isn't a geometric sequence and does not have a common ratio.

Let's see what these reduce to:

80/-320=1/-4 =-1/4 or -0.25

-20/80=-1/4 or -0.25

5/-20=1/-4=-1/4 or -0.25

So the common ratio is -0.25 or yo you can write it as -1/4.

Even numbers on die: 2,4,6
odd numbers on die: 1,3,5
3+3=6 -> 6 numbers in total
3/6 chance because there are 3 even numbers. This would round to 1/2, so 1/2 a chance the die will roll an even number.
