Trade Unions were local unions  created by workers in the late 1800s with the purpose of aiding, and allowing them to solve many of the problems they were facing at work. Some of these problems were unsafe working conditions and low wages.

The workers belonging to these unions some times, used strikes against their employers to make them listen and resolve disputes within the factories. The origin of the labor movement in America dates back to the beginning of the American nation. New York is where the first strike took place in 1768.

Answer B will be the correct answer because even though, the original unions wanted better wages and safer working conditions for all workers, eventually, the Trade Unions gave all workers better bargaining positions because, they can now act as a single unit with coordination to have all demands solve. Single factories employers had to deal with the entire work force when there was an issue or complain to be resolved. In other words, Trade Unions gave workers a collective voice.
