Trade Unions were local unions  created by workers in the late 1800s with the purpose of aiding, and allowing them to solve many of the problems they were facing at work. Some of these problems were unsafe working conditions and low wages.

The workers belonging to these unions some times, used strikes against their employers to make them listen and resolve disputes within the factories.
