5 0

Answer:

c:(0;+∞)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the situation, that the square root function only allows you values above than "0" (not equal neither), then you must consider that every value above 0 belongs to it's domain.

Then, to express the domain, going from your most negative number, to your most possitive number (in this case all positive number, thats why we use infinite) you must use the parenthesis wich means, you are not considering the value (in this case 0), but the value right after it, to the next value that as we said before, is inifinite. Also remember, that when you express a domain, and use infinite (despite it's going to negative way, or possitive way, it also goes with parenthesis).

Chapter 6, Section 1-D, Exercise 009 Is a Normal Distribution Appropriate? In each case below, is the sample size large enough s
Xelga [282]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Complete Question:

Chapter 6, Section 1-D, Exercise 009 Is a Normal Distribution Appropriate? In each case below, is the sample size large enough so that the sample proportions follow a normal distribution?

a) n=600 p=0.2

b) n=20, p=0.4

if np=10 and npq=10 then the data follows normal distribution

a) np= 120,

q= 1-0.2= 0.8

npq= 600 ×0.2×0.4 = 48

Normal distribution is appropriate and sample size is large enough

b) np= 8

q= 1-0.4= 0.6

npq= 20 × 0.4×0.6= 4.8

sample size is not large enough so normal distribution is not appropriate.

What is another word for translation?
A.flip
B.turn
C.slide
D.fall
stiv31 [10]
It's not a as flip is rotational, turn can also be rotational. I would go with slide as translation is a sideways motion

Answer: 18 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

There are four equal triangle and a rectangle.

Formula of a rectangle = b * h = 2*3 = 6

Formula of triangle = \frac{bh}{2} but there four of them so we times them by 4, this leaves us with 2 (b * h) = 2(2*3) = 12

Area of pentagon = area of all triangles + rectangle

Area of pentagon = 12 + 6 = 18

Hope this helps.

Answer:

Length of the room is 180 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

We have a rectangular room with dimensions:

width = 70 ft and length "x" (unknown)

Perimeter of a rectangle is 2*w + 2*x and according to problem statement 500 ft of lights will fit exactly in room perimeter then:

2*70  +  2*x   =  500

140  + 2*x  =  500

2*x  =  500 - 140

2*x  = 360

x  = 360/2

x  =  180  ft
