False! When a windmill spins, it is converting the wind energy and converting it into nuclear energy at a wind power plant. True! When coal is burned, the chemical energy in the coal is converted to heat energy.

Explanation: But usually and depending on the system, windmills can turned their spin into any kind of energy. Of course, nuclear it's always the obligated option, but in the past, a few years (and maybe decades) ago, windmills were used to turn energy into electricity.
