The appropriate response is Radical Republicans and Reconstruction Plan. 20,000 members praise the approval of the fifteenth Amendment. The Radical Republicans trusted blacks were qualified for an indistinguishable political rights and openings from whites. They likewise trusted that the Confederate pioneers ought to be rebuffed for their parts in the Civil War.

Why was the federal government granted the ability to maintain an army during peacetime by the Constitution?
tatuchka [14]

Answer:

The clauses of the Constitution, which give Congress authority to raise and support armies, and so forth, were not inserted to endow the national government rather than the States with the power to do these things but to designate the department of the Federal Government, which would exercise the powers. As we have noted above, the English king was endowed with the power not only to initiate war but the power to raise and maintain armies and navies.1637 Aware historically that these powers had been used to the detriment of the liberties and well-being of Englishmen and aware that in the English Declaration of Rights of 1688 it was insisted that standing armies could not be maintained without the consent of Parliament, the Framers vested these basic powers in Congress.

Please help me with a detailed response. A detailed one not just one sentence. Please answer the question. (Manifest Destiny) ev
Sidana [21]
Honestly, when everybody was expanding, they didn't bother with the Native Americans at first. They, the Americans, would march through their territories and instantly claim it as their own. If the Native Americans choose to fight back, then there would be a battle of dominance. After a while, Andrew Jackson decided to expand to his very own liking, but he would move all of the Native Americans into one spot. The Indian Removal Act was signed into law by Jackson in 1830. Great pressure was put on Native American leaders to sign these Removal Acts. The Removal Act was sort of emigrating tens of thousands of Indians to the West. The Trail of Tears was the forced march of the Cherokee's removal which resulted in 4,000 deceased Cherokee. In 1837, Jackson had removed 46,000 Native American people from their land near the Mississipi river and moved them all elsewhere. If it was not during this time period, and more or less Manifest Destiny specifically, Americans would either battle the Native Americans away, or resort back to earlier forces; The Indian Removal Act.
