Mathew Perry demanded that Japan open its ports for refueling and trade. The correct option among all the options given in the question is option "B". Commodore Mathew Perry on 8th of July 1853 sailed into Tokyo harbor in frigate Susquehanna along with two steamers and 2 sailing vessels to end Japan's policy of isolation. He forced the Japanese to enter into agreement with the United States of America for opening the ports and trading. The Japanese did not have any kind of Naval power and this forced them to agree to the terms of United States of America.
