Answer:

In Watson and Rayner's experiments, Little Albert was conditioned to fear a white rat, and then he began to be afraid of other furry white objects. This demonstrates stimulus generalization.

Explanation:

Stimulus generalization is a concept within the conditioning theory, that was first identified in Watson and Rayner's experiments, they found that when a response to a certain stimulus has been reinforced, the response may begin to appear with other stimulus that are similar to the original. In Watson and Rayner's experiment, after Little Albert was conditioned to fear the rat, he began to respond in the same way to other furry white objects.

This principle has helped psychologists understand certain disorders like social anxiety disorder.

oee [108]
The Removal Act that was passed by Congress on May 28, 1830 gave the president the power to bargain in the relocation of southern Indian tribes to federal land in return for their ancestral land. It was genocide because many Indians were forced out of their ancestral lands and many were killed by disease during their travel to federal territory. Those who resisted were killed due to disease and many conflicts came about as some of the Indians fought back. Among the tribes who suffered under this act were the Cherokee, Choctaw, Seminole, Chickasaws and Creek. Many more died on the Trail of Tears.

How did agricultural problems contribute to migration within the United States?
alexdok [17]
In 1898, the bowl weevil infected the cotton crops of the South leaving acres and acres of cotton devastated. Finally, the hold of King Cotton in the South was finished. In 1914, foreign immigration stopped with WW I which left industries in the North short of workers. Some people migrated to the North to get factory jobs. Big businesses decided to help with the war effort and because they needed a good supply of workers, decided to built factories in the south. At this point the South was behind in education, labor skills, etc. because the idea of the South was the better of the two regions still lay in the minds of many Southerners. However, some had left farms years ago and were just waiting for a chance to see what the North had to offer. When the coal mines opened up, many ex-farmers headed North to see what kind of jobs could be found. As more people quit working the land and headed North, some would stop off at different places and some would continue onward. If the big crop of cotton had not failed, many would have been stuck in the Southern way of life and racism from the end of the Civil War.
