The simple reason was because the British needed to pay their debts from the Seven Years' War (The French and Indian War) so they taxed the colonies.

Answer:

Parliament raised taxes on the American colonies in the 1760's because Britain was in debt from the French and Indian War.

Explanation:

In 1763, the British government came from the Seven Years’ War which involved the French and Indian by heavy debts and needed money to pay this debt. The king and the parliament believed they had the power to tax the colonies and they imposed taxes to the colonies which included the Stamp Act and  Townsend Acts.

In First Corinthians, the Corinthian believers boasted in their tolerance. Instead they should have dealt with this sin problem.
BabaBlast [244]

Answer:

The correct answer is:

True

Explanation:

According to this information, first of all, it is necessary to highlight the arrogance implied in the fact that they felt so proud to be that tolerant; this is a fact that leads them to be in sin. In the second place, instead of being thinking about the way the were with the others, they should have paid more attention to their actions as a community since inside the Corinthian believers there was one acting in a really immoral way since he was having sexual contact with the father's wife, instead of being arrogant, they should have removed this member from their community.

Why are some couples choosing to cohabitate before marriage? What effect does cohabitation have on marriage?
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

To see if they are compatible for marriage.

Explanation:

Most couple nowadays cohabit before getting married. They do so mainly in order to find out whether they get along OK or not.  In other words, they want to test their partners to see if they are good husband/wife material and somebody capable to form a family with.

Studies say, however, the cohabiting before marriage increases the risk of divorce, this is the so called 'cohabiting effect'. People who cohabit are less selective with choosing their partners and may later marry a person that isn't really right for them. There is a lower level of commitment in a cohabiting relationship that continues well into marriage and eventually can lead to divorce.
