400 = 175 + 0.15x

0.15x = 225

15x = 22500

x = 1500

She will have to sell 1500 worth of sales to have the second job pay as much as the first.

So we solve for 1 week and set them equal to each other

first job pay=second job pay
400=175+15%ofsales
x=number of sales
400=175+0.15x
solve for x
subtract 175 from both sides
225=0.15x
divide both sides by 0.15
1500=x

she has to earn $1500 in sales per week to have as much as the other job

Help me pls i really dk
kondaur [170]
I think its easier to work out part (c) first:-

People who liked anything except burger  = 3/8 + 1/4 + 1/5 =  33/40

So the fraction who liked burgers = 7/40.

7/40 of the total liked burgers   so total people surveyed = (40/7) * 126 =  720

ANswer to c is 720.

a) Number who liked  chicken and laksa = (3/8 + 1/4) * 720  =  450 Answer

b)  Number who liked pasta =  1/5 * 720  =  144

Therefore  144-126  =  18 more people liked pasta than burger , Answer.

A plant is 20 inches tall. If the plant grows 2h inches each week for the next 4 weeks, and h inches for each of the 2 weeks aft
FromTheMoon [43]
A) 20+10h

You know that you have 20 inches to start with, then it will grow 2h four times, or 8h total. Then it will grow h 2 times, or 2h. You add the 20, 8h, and 2h, to get 20+10h.

Hope this helps!

An aircraft factory manufactures airplane engines. The unit cost (the cost in dollars to make each airplane engine) depends on t
Juliette [100K]

Answer:

Minimum unit cost = 5,858

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the function : C(x)=x^2−520x+73458

To find the minimum unit cost :

Take the derivative of C(x) with respect to x

dC/dx = 2x - 520

Set = 0

2x - 520

2x = 520

x = 260

To minimize unit cost, 260 engines must be produced

Hence, minimum unit cost will be :

C(x)=x^2−520x+73458

Put x = 260

C(260) = 260^2−520(260) + 73458

= 5,858
