1) If x = -2 and x = -5 then the equation would be the product of
(x +2) * (x +5) =
x^2 +7x + 10

2) If x = -2 and x = 0 then the equation would be the product of
(x + 2) * (x -0) =
x^2 + 2x = 0

3) If x = -2 and x = -2 then the equation would be the product of
(x + 2) * (x + 2) =
x^2 + 4x + 4 = 0

And you can check those answers with this calculator:

(I did check those answers and they are correct.)

MARKING BRAINIEST!! A wheelchair ramp is 10 feet long. the ramp sits up on a 2 foot platform. How far is it from the end of the
irina [24]

Answer:

The distance between the end of the ramp and the bottom of the platform is about 9.8 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

use the pythagorean theorem (a²+b²=c²) to solve

a and b are the legs, c is the hypotenuse

plug in given values:

2² + x² = 10²

solve for x:

x² + 4 = 100

x² = 96

x ≈ 9.80

8 Darpan runs a distance of 12 km and then cycles a distance of 26 km. His running speed is x km/h and his cycling speed is 10 k
Sonja [21]

The equation in terms of x, for the total time he takes in hours would be 2.48 = 12/x + 26/10x

What is speed?

Speed can be calculated as the ratio of distance traveled to the time taken

Darpan runs a distance of 12 km and then cycles a distance of 26 km.

Total distance = 12 + 26 = 38km

The running speed is x km/h

A = x

The cycling speed is 10 km/h faster than his running speed

B = 10x

He takes a total time of 2 hours and 48 minutes.

So, the total time he takes

Time = Distance x speed

2.48 = 12/x + 26/10x

10x(2.48) = 120 + 26

24.8x = 146

x = 5.8
