This is mainly due to nervous tissue density in regards to the layers. a superficial burn usually involves the outermost layers of the skin; the Dermis and Epidermis. The Epidermis being dead skin cells, does not have much in the way of nerves, which is why you wouldn't feel anything, if you say cut the skin so thinly, that no blood is drawn.

The Dermis, does have some tissues, but it's main duty is just to have enough to detect some painful stimuli and or touch, its relatively thin, and sometimes you don't feel things as much (This is the layer a diabetic's lancet is used to draw blood, sometimes you can feel pain, or sometimes you won't).

The main subcutaneous and muscular tissue, below the uppermost layers are full of vasculature and nervous tissue. So it can be assumed this is way more painful, and much more dangerous if burned.

While you are returning from lunch, a frantic woman flags you down and states that she just found a young child on the roadside
vlabodo [156]

Answer:

The answer to the question: You should immediately... while talking about a woman who flagged you after lunch to inform you that she has found a young child by the roadside, who seems not to be breathing, and who seems to have been hit by a car, would be, B: Advise dispatch that you have been flagged down for a possible emergency.

Explanation:

The reason for this being the correct answer, instead of simply calling for assistance, calming the woman down, or grabbing your equipment and getting to the child´s location is that you have been informed of a possible emergency, but you are not yet sure of what exactly has happened, and if everything the woman has related, is accurate. As such, the first thing you need to do is inform dispatch that you have been informed of a possible situation so that they ready the necessary support in case the emergency is real, and it is all that was made out to be. Then, you must go and assess the situation.

photoshop1234 [79]

Answer:

Step 1: Research and Macronutrients

Research the nutritional needs of the following two men:

Male 1: 30-year-old male, long-distance runner who weighs 140 lbs. and has a body fat percentage of 20 percent. He is 5’10” tall.

Male 2: 30-year-old male, works a desk job all day. He is sedentary and the only exercise he gets is a short walk once a week. He weighs 190 lbs. and his body fat percentage is 30 percent. He is also 5’10” tall.

Based on your research, use your best judgment to estimate the following nutritional requirements for each man. Record your information on the provided sheet.

Male 1 should have a diet of mostly fiber, with small amount of protein and fat. Male one may loosen the diet if wanted due to being fairly fit.

Male two would want a smaller diet consisting of mostly empty foods, such as celery. This is to keep them feeling full while still helping weight be lost.
