Humans have survived and thrived in the Nile River Valley by using technology to alter the Nile River to meet their needs. Humans have used flood protection technologies like levees, embankments, canals, and aqueducts to control and divert the flow of water.
One technology was agricultural in the fertile Nile Valley of flooding then planting and harvesting the fields in a cyclical manner though some of the flooding may have been natural. Also, the Egyptians invented paper or papyrus which gave them a medium for writing and recording data. Also, they used the wheel and the lever and the ramp. Of course the wheel was very important for their transportation ie with chariots for example. The ramps were used for building such as the pyramids.
