Answer:

150 steps

Step-by-step explanation:

GOING UP:

Steps taken per second = speed = 3steps/s

Let Time taken = y

Number of steps = steps taken per second × time taken

Number of steps = 3 × y - - - - (1)

COMING DOWN:

Steps taken per second = 2steps/s

Total time taken = y + 25

Number of steps = 2 × (y + 25)

Number of steps = 2y + 50 - - - - - (2)

Equating (1) and (2)

3y = 2y + 50

3y - 2y = 50

y = 50

Substitute y = 50 into either (1) or (2)

Put y= 50 into (1)

Number of steps = 3y

Number of steps = 3(50)

Number of steps = 150

Which equation best describes the pattern in the table below?
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

The pattern in the table adds 1.50 for ever 15 minutes. That means per minute it adds \frac{1.5}{15} =0.10 or 10 cents. This means you multiply each minute by 0.10 to find the cost. This is the equation c = 0.10m.

I have tried different attempts but still can’t solve it
zloy xaker [14]
Hello!

First you to do 65 * 0.20

0.20 is 20% as a decimal

65 * 0.20 = 13

$13 is how much John saves.

To find out how much the skateboard cost you subtract how much he saved by the cost of the skateboard

65 - 13 = 52

The skateboard cost $52

Hope this helps!
