Why did many unmarried women work in textile mills in the early 1800s? (1 point) A law preventing women from seeking employment

had recently been overturned. They hoped to meet men in the factories that wanted to marry. They needed to earn money to support their families. Working in the factories provided women with female companionship and independence.
