Letter A is a correct way because $9 * gigabyte = total cost (28.50)
Letter C is a correct way, It is the same as Letter A except they use an 'x' for multiplication.
Letter D is correct because 28.50/the cost of additional gigabytes($9) gives the amount of the gigabytes used.

Letter B is incorrect.

When a number is written in scientific notion, how can you tell right away whether or not it is or than or equal to one?
nikklg [1K]
Well, to know right away whether or not a number is equal to 1, you need to know what 1 is in scientific notation. 1 * 10^0. Easy enough :) To know if the number is greater than one, any positive number multiplied by 10^a number higher than 0 is greater than one. As well as any number greater than one multiplied by 10^0 or a positive number. For numbers less than one, the way to know is if the number is being multiplied by 10 ^ a negative number. I hope this helps :)

Consider the equation 2/3x-9-2x+2=1.
bogdanovich [222]

The one is the same everywhere so we ignore it.

\frac 2 {3} x -9 -2x+2 = (\frac 2 3 - \frac 6 3) x - 9+2= -\frac 4 3 x -7

Can i get help I'm struggling right now
andrezito [222]

Answer:

7a+2a=9a

Step-by-step explanation:

You distribute the a to each of the numbers in the parenthesis. Which means that you multiply. You should be left with a 7a+2a. Then since 7+2=9, your answer is 9a. So answer 1 is correct because they do these exact steps.
