Answer choices are:

A.It seldom needs refining because of its detailed accuracy.

B. It clearly depicts the particular set of characteristics being modeled.

C. It is an exact visual representation of the characteristics being modeled.

D. It is the same size and color as the scientific phenomena being demonstrated.

____________________________________________________________

Correct answer choice is:

B. It clearly depicts the particular set of characteristics being modeled.
____________________________________________________________

Explanation:

In science, a model is a depiction of an approach, an article or even a method or a scheme that is used to illustrate and interpret happenings that cannot be encountered directly. Models are fundamental to what explorers do, both in their investigation as well as when carrying their information.

Do constellations appear the same in Northern and Southern Hemisphere? Why or Why Not?
Mashcka [7]
The visible constellations are definitely different between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. In general, at any given point on Earth, only around 50% of the sky will be visible. We can understand this by considering the atmosphere as a sphere around the earth. The sky any person can view at one point can be compared to a giant dome equal to half of the sphere. And because the Earth rotates, the dome we can see changes, unless one is sitting directly on the North or South Pole.

What is the expected freezing point of a solution containing 85.0g NaCl dissolved in 450g of water
sattari [20]

The expected freezing point of the solution is -12.01 °C

What is the freezing point of a substance?

The freezing point of a substance is the temperature at which a liquid changes to a solid.

When solutes are dissolved in solvents, they depress the freezing point of the solvent.

The expected freezing point of the solution is calculated using the formula;

 • ΔT = K * m * i

where:

 • ΔT = freezing point depression
 • K = Freezing point constant
 • m = molality of the solution
 • i = Van't Hoff factor

For water, K = 1.86 ∘c/m

molality of solution = moles of solute/ mass of water in Kg

moles of NaCl = 85/58.5 = 1.453 moles

mass of water in kg = 450/1000 = 0.45

molality of solution = 1.453 / 0.45

molality of solution = 3.23 molal

i = 2

ΔT = 1.86 × 3.23 × 2

ΔT = 12.01

Freezing point of solution = Freezing point of water - ΔT

Freezing point of solution = 0 - 12.01

Freezing point of solution = -12.01 °C
