X = -3, g(x) = 0
x = -2, g(x) = 2(-2 + 3)^2 - 1 = 2(1) - 1 = 1
x = -1, g(x) = 2(-1 + 3)^2 - 1 = 2(4) - 1 = 7
x = 0, g(x) = 2(0 + 3)^2 - 1 = 2(9) - 1 = 17
x = 1, g(x) = 2(1 + 3)^2 - 1 = 2(16) - 1 = 31
x = 2, g(x) = 2(2 + 3)^2 - 1 = 2(25) - 1 = 49
x = 3, g(x) = 2(3 + 3)^2 - 1 = 2(36) - 1 = 71

graph the function base on those values above

Mr. Cresta spends $6.00 for every $3.00 he saves. Write a ratio equivalent to Mr. Cresta's spending
Andrei [34K]

Answer:

12:6 or $12 for every $6 he saves

Step-by-step explanation:

If he spends $6.00 for every $3.00, he would save $6 if he spends $12. In this case you could multiple or divide 6 by any number, and do the same to 3 to get an equivalent ratio. Ex. Multiple 6 times 2 to get $12 and 3 times 2 to get $6.

Shenelle has 100 meters of fencing to build a rectangular garden. The garden's area (in square meters) as a function of the gard
ad-work [718]

Answer:

625 metres

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the area function expressed as a(w)=-(w-25)^2+625.

The maximum area occurs at when da/dw = 0

da/dw = -2(w-25)

0 = -2(w-25)

-2(w-25) = 0

w - 25  = 0

w = 25

Substitute w = 25 into the modeled equation;

Recall a(w)=-(w-25)^2+625.

a(25)=-(25-25)^2+625

a(25) = 0+625

a(25) = 625

Hence the maximum area possible is 625 metres
